Clinic Services

Intake interviews and assessments can help identify which treatment is right for you!

Therapeutic Massage

Includes Injury Specific Massage, Sports Massage, and Thai Massage. Treatments and techniques vary with client goals. Areas of pain or dysfunction are targeted, while the body is encouraged to relax. Because pain and dysfunction cause stress – and stress inhibits healing, treatment goals usually include stress relief in conjunction with restoring muscular and joint health.

Relaxation Massage

Therapeutic massage techniques are applied in a rhythmic fashion, promoting relaxation. Pressure can be very light to deep, depending on the comfort level of the patient, and attention can be paid to hardworking areas such as hands, feet, scalp and face. However, it is up to you! We want your experience to be customized to your preferences.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage uses slower and deeper techniques that will stimulate the tension receptors of the muscles so that they will ultimately release, relieving stubborn, chronic muscle tension.

Scar tissue can be loosened and tight muscles lengthened. Stretches may also be applied. Circulation is increased and the older fluids that have been stagnant in chronically tense areas will be flushed, allowing for muscle repair, increased oxygen to the area, and re-alignment of the fibers.

Manual Lymph Drainage

Performed by a Certified Decongestive Therapist. The lymph system is the network responsible for transporting excess fluids, bacteria, viruses and waste from all areas of the body.

Specific amounts of pressure and rhythmic circular movements are used in specific sequences to encourage the drainage of lymphatic fluid in a congested area.

This can be helpful for swelling after mastectomies or node removals following cancer treatments, orthopedic or plastic surgeries, sinus congestion, scarring, lymphedema, or supporting the immune system overall.

Compression garments may be recommended to control and maintain lymphedema. Authorization for the Assisted Medical Devices program is available.

Children and Youth

It is ideal for young people to start massage as soon as they can! It is important to develop the autonomy of young people so they are informed and educated about their health. We feel as though they are an active party to their care.

We welcome ongoing feedback from our young patients about what their goals are, and what type of treatment they are looking for. Many are looking for muscle and joint support after playing sports or injury, sleep support, better self care, or help unwinding during stressful times.

Dolphin Neurostim Scar Release Treatment

Scars can physically impact our bodies in ways we may not realize. From surgical scars to everyday injuries, they bind our fascia, restrict movement, and block circulation, leading to chronic pain and other health issues. Scar release(SRT) is an innovative therapy designed to help your body heal and regain vitality while reducing the scar’ negative effects.

SRT applies DC micro current(Dolphin Neurostim- MPS) which penetrate deep into the dermis and beyond (where cupping only affects the dermis), to release, scar tissue and increase cellular metabolism. This non-invasive, painless treatment quickly soften scar tissue.(reducing scar size) to provide incredible chronic pain relief throughout the body. There are virtually no risks or side effects

MPS “super accelerates” scar tissue healing.  By treating scars at their source, DC microcurrent facilitates more comprehensive healing and restoration of tissue function, providing relief that methods which focus on the epidermis cannot achieve.

Abdominal / Digestive Massage

Gentle, circular movements over the digestive system can help increase circulation to the area, as well as help increase the speed of mobility within the digestive tract. Abdominal massage can alleviate common digestive discomfort, such as bloating and gas, or address contributing postural imbalances and abdominal congestion.

Since stress inhibits digestion, a relaxing massage over the digestive area will not only relieve stress but also help promote healthy digestive function.
